A quartz movement is battery-powered and maintenance-free. A mechanical movement is hand-wound and is a true collector's item. For daily use on board, we recommend quartz – for the salon or as a gift, mechanical is unique.
Our ship's clocks are resistant to humid conditions on board but are not intended for submersion. For outdoor use, we recommend a sheltered location.
