For those who sail with the tides or live by the coast: this Royal set combines the tide clock with the barometer in a generous 180mm size. The tide clock follows the rhythm of ebb and flow, so you can see at a glance where you are in the tidal cycle. The barometer adds the atmospheric pressure trend; falling pressure during an incoming tide often tells you more than any weather app. Both instruments are made of solid brass and, as a set, are precisely matched in color and style. A functional and presentable ensemble for on board, in the beach house, or in the office.

• Dust the ship's clock with a microfibre cloth to remove dirt without affecting the protective alloy.<!--en-->• Remove the battery for long-term storage, for example during winter.<!--en-->• Hang or store the ship's clock in a dry place to prevent moisture and corrosion damage.<!--en-->• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or polishes, which can damage the protective layer and/or cause corrosion.
• Can I buy the clock and barometer separately? Yes, both instruments are available separately, but as a set, you benefit from a set discount and are assured of identical design and color.
• Do I need to set the barometer? Yes, once when hanging it: set the reference pointer to the current atmospheric pressure of your location (e.g., via the KNMI). After that, you only need to adjust the reference pointer occasionally.
• What battery does the clock need? The quartz movement runs on a standard AA battery that lasts about a year. Use a quality battery, 1.5 Volt, to prevent leakage.
• What exactly does "hi-sensitive" mean? The measuring mechanism is set more sensitively than with a standard aneroid barometer. Small changes in air pressure can therefore be read earlier and more clearly; it is precisely this early trend that predicts a change in weather.
• Maintenance tip: Wipe the casing with a soft, dry cloth. Polished brass is lacquered, so do NOT use polish, as it will damage the lacquer layer. For chrome and matte brushed, wipe dry or lightly damp only.
• Tide display: low tide, half tide rising, high tide, half tide falling, shown in text on the dial, indicated by a red hand
• Frequency: 32.768 KHz
• Power supply: 1 × AA alkaline battery (LR6), 1.5 V
• Average weekly deviation +/- 3 minutes (mechanical clock)
• New high-sensitivity barometer with measurements in hPa, mmHg, and inHg.
