Avoid harsh cleaning agents or polishes as these can damage the protective layer.

• Remove the battery during long-term storage (e.g. winter storage).
• Store/hang the clock dry, especially outside the season.

Weather station – extra tips
• Check meters at the start of the season, after long storage, moving or if you have any doubts about their accuracy. And adjust if necessary.
• Avoid mounting in direct sunlight or above a heat source (stove/radiator).

• What is the benefit of this bundle?

• Are the instruments suitable for damp areas?
They are designed for marine environments, but we recommend placing them in a drier location (cabin, interior) whenever possible to keep the electronics and housing looking good.

• How quiet is the ship's bell?
The Navigator II's quartz movement is very quiet. Perfect for a cabin, bedroom, or office.

• How do I replace the clock battery?
There are four nuts on the front that you can loosen with the included Wempe wrench. Then you can replace the battery and set the time.

• How do I read the barometer for a weather forecast?
Pay particular attention to changes: rising pressure often indicates more stable weather, falling pressure indicates worse or changeable weather. Rapid changes usually indicate short-term shifts.

• Do I need to calibrate the weather station?
They're usually factory-set. After extended storage, moving to a different region, or if you're unsure, you can compare the air pressure (online) and adjust the barometer on the back.

• Does the weather station work at any altitude?
Barometers are set to sea level. Calibration is required for use at higher altitudes (e.g., in mountains).

• What about warranty?
Both the ship's clock and the weather station come with a 3-year international warranty (damage due to external influences/incorrect application excluded).
