When mounting on a thin bulkhead, leave space for the lighting cable behind the compass. During the first trip, check the heading against a known line.

The C9 is a class B compass for bulkhead mounting, featuring an 85 mm conical black card and a built-in clinometer. It is designed for small commercial vessels, lifeboats, and pleasure craft, and is popular on sailboats with an enclosed or covered helm. The illumination operates on 12 and 24 V; available with a white or black housing.
