The Minor hygrometer measures relative humidity using a synthetic fiber, from 10 to 100%, without a battery. This allows you to see in a cabin, caravan, or vacation home when it is time to ventilate, before condensation attaches to woodwork, cushions, and textiles. With a 72 mm diameter and a 50 mm dial; available in matte black, chrome, or gold-plated with a white dial, and in chrome with a black dial.
Works between 3 and 40 °C; so hang it inside and not in the cockpit. If the value remains high for a long time, ventilate or use a dehumidifier.

• What does a hygrometer do?
A hygrometer monitors humidity, essential for preventing moisture problems. On boats, it helps prevent mold and corrosion on cushions and electronics. Indoors, it contributes to a healthy and comfortable indoor climate.
• Why do I need a hygrometer?
A hygrometer accurately measures humidity, which is crucial for preventing moisture damage. Think of protecting electronics, textiles, or other sensitive materials on board a boat or in your home.
• Do I choose a thermometer, a hygrometer, or both?
A thermometer measures temperature, while a hygrometer monitors humidity. Both are valuable instruments. For limited space, a comfort meter—a combination thermometer and hygrometer—is a practical choice. These are available in the 95 mm series.
• How do I calibrate my hygrometer?
To calibrate a hygrometer, place it in a sealed plastic bag along with a damp sponge. After about 30 minutes, the hygrometer should read 95% or more humidity. Check and adjust the meter if necessary. Dry the housing with a clean cloth.
