The smallest instrument in the series and therefore easy to combine with a clock or comfort meter of the same size. If you only want to know the temperature, without humidity measurement, this is the right choice.

The Weems & Plath Endurance II thermometer combines style and precision in one elegant instrument. Featuring a bimetallic mechanism, the thermometer accurately displays temperatures in both Celsius (-20°C to 50°C) and Fahrenheit (14°F to 122°F). Each thermometer is carefully adjusted and calibrated in a temperature-controlled environment for reliable performance. Its maintenance-free, ultra-hard surface and weatherproof properties make this thermometer ideal for use at sea, on board, or at home. The polished glass and classic porthole display add maritime charm. Available for wall mounting or with an optional wooden stand in mahogany or black, the thermometer complements the other instruments in the Endurance II series. With a lifetime warranty on the finish and mechanism, this thermometer is a timeless and reliable instrument for any nautical enthusiast.

The smallest instrument in the series and therefore easy to combine with a clock or comfort meter of the same size. If you only want to know the temperature, without humidity measurement, this is the right choice.

• How does this thermometer work?
A bimetallic spring expands and contracts with the temperature, moving the pointer without the need for batteries or electricity. You can read the temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit.

• Where should I hang the thermometer?
At eye level, away from direct sunlight and not above a heater, engine compartment, or other heat source. Otherwise, you will be measuring the heat source rather than the ambient temperature.

• Is the thermometer suitable for use on board?
Yes. The brass housing has a maintenance-free, ultra-hard coating and is designed for a maritime environment. However, protect it from direct water exposure.

• Can the thermometer also be placed on a surface?
Yes, in addition to wall mounting, there is an optional wooden stand available in mahogany or black.

• Does the thermometer require maintenance?
Hardly. Dust it with a soft, dry cloth and do not use harsh cleaning agents.
