• What do the red and green sectors on the dial mean?
These are the radio silence periods used in maritime radiotelephony. During the red sectors (minutes 15–18 and 45–48) and the green sectors (minutes 0–3 and 30–33), distress frequencies were kept clear for emergency calls. This makes this clock recognizable as an authentic radio room clock.

• What battery does the clock require?
One AA battery (Mignon 1.5 V). This is not included.

• How do I replace the battery or set the time?
You unscrew the clock from the mounting ring on the wall, replace the battery or set the time, and screw it back on. You do not need any tools for this.

• How accurate is the clock?
The quartz movement is accurate to within approximately ±6 minutes per year. Adjusting it occasionally, for example when switching to summer or winter time, is sufficient.

• Can the clock be hung on board?
Yes. The casing has a titanium-colored finish. Hang the clock inside in a dry place, such as in the cabin, and not outside where it would be exposed to wind and spray. If the boat remains in the water during the winter, remove the battery to prevent leakage.

• Does the clock come with a warranty?
Yes, you receive a 2-year statutory warranty. This covers defects not caused by external influences or improper use, including issues with the operation and the clockwork.
