The A130TH2 combines a thermometer and a hygrometer on a generously sized dial. The blue hand displays the temperature, the red one the relative humidity, so you can see from a distance whether the indoor climate remains comfortable or if ventilation is needed. Operates without electricity, behind mineral glass in a mirror-polished stainless steel housing.

• Does the VION thermo-hygrometer require a battery?
No. Temperature and humidity are measured analogically, so no battery or power is required.
• How accurate is it?
The thermometer is accurate to ±1 °C between 10 and 30 °C, and to ±2 °C between -20 and 60 °C. The hygrometer is accurate to ±10% relative humidity. More than sufficient to see if the indoor climate is heading in the right direction.
• What is a good humidity level?
40 to 60% relative humidity is considered a comfortable guideline. If the red pointer remains above 60 to 65% for a long period, the risk of condensation and mold increases, and ventilating is advisable. Use the hygrometer primarily to monitor the trend, not as an exact measurement.
• Where is the best place to hang it?
At eye level in the room whose climate you want to monitor, out of direct sunlight, and not above or next to a heater. After moving the instrument, it takes about an hour before the readings are accurate.
• How do I mount it?
A separate mounting plate is available for the A130 series. You screw this onto the wall, after which you secure the instrument with the thumb nuts; this allows you to remove it again by hand.
