• Dishwasher safe, preferably on top and on a gentle cycle to ensure good preservation.

1) Is this bowl useful on the boat?
Yes. Because it's lightweight and shatterproof, there are no shards and less hassle if it moves on board.

2) Can the bowl be placed in the dishwasher?
Yes, it's dishwasher safe. For best results, use a gentle cycle and preferably on the top rack.

3) Can the Soleil bowl be used in the microwave?
No, I'd rather not. Melamine is not intended for microwave use.

4) What do I use 480 ml for?
Perfect for yogurt with granola, fruit, soup, noodles, side dishes or a small salad.

5) Does it match other tableware I already have?
Usually, yes: the calm white base with subtle accents combines easily. And it's designed to be mixed with Soleil and Ambree.

6) Is melamine “plastic-like”?
In terms of feel, not at all: the matte finish and ribbed structure give a more “table-worthy” appearance, while you still benefit from the convenience of melamine.
