For regular use of the watch we recommend:
• After salt or chlorine use: Always rinse with fresh water. Rotate the bezel while rinsing and pat everything dry with a microfiber cloth.
• Crown & Water: Ensure the screw-down crown is closed before contact with water. Do not operate the crown or pushers underwater.
• Cleaning the glass and case: Clean the sapphire crystal with lukewarm water and microfibre; do not use aggressive agents (no acetone, alcohol, abrasives).
• Bezel & “sound box”: keep the openings free of salt/sand by rinsing well; this will ensure that the acoustic signals remain maximally audible.
• Strap – leather: Keep it dry. Still wet? Rinse briefly with fresh water and leave it flat to dry (away from the heater/sun). Avoid sunscreen, perfume, and cleaning products. Apply leather conditioner once or twice a year to keep it supple (test on a small area first).
• Strap – TPU/stainless steel: Rinse with fresh water; if dirty, use a mild soap solution and a soft brush. Dry thoroughly.
• Service & Battery: Expect 2–3 years with normal use. Do you see an EOL indication (seconds hand jumps in larger increments)? Have the battery replaced and pressure tested by a professional jeweler.
• Check water tightness: have the gaskets and water tightness tested annually (or after a hard impact) — certainly before the new sailing season.
Heat & magnets: Avoid saunas/jacuzzis and extreme temperature fluctuations. Do not place the watch on strong magnets/speakers/compasses.
• Store: dry, out of direct sunlight, and preferably in a case. Do not store leather in an airtight container while it is still damp.

Can I swim with this sailing watch?
Yes, 10 ATM is suitable for swimming/snorkeling (not diving). TPU is ideal for wet decks.

Does TPU discolor faster than steel or leather?
TPU is water-resistant, but may discolor due to UV/chemical exposure. Rinse after salt/chlorine exposure, and avoid sunscreen/perfume under the band.

How loud is the starting signal?
Thanks to the sound box, it sounds clear and loud; test your countdown settings on deck before takeoff.

What does the EOL indication do?
Low battery? The second hand jumps in larger increments. Have the battery replaced and pressure tested soon.

Can I change the strap or top ring color later?
Yes, you can always purchase and replace additional watch straps or top rings later.
