This Plastimo 130mm (4 inch) set brings together a clock, barometer, and thermo-hygrometer in matt chrome, each with a bevelled glass edge and a front opening for easy access. You can choose the clock in the standard version or with radio silence zones, which are sectors where marine radio traffic takes precedence. The barometer uses a highly sensitive aneroid mechanism in a solid brass housing for accurate atmospheric pressure readings. The thermo-hygrometer displays temperature and humidity, providing a complete picture of the indoor climate. All three instruments measure 130mm on the outside and 88 mm (3.46 inches) on the dial.

Plastimo clock set matt chrome 120mm, modern set in a classic design
○ Analog ○ No power required
Do not hang the set in direct sunlight, as this will distort the barometer reading over time. After moving, allow it to acclimatize for an hour for a reliable measurement. If you use the instrument at an altitude higher than sea level, please inform us when ordering.

1. What exactly does a weather station measure?
A weather station combines several instruments in the same unit — usually a barometer, thermometer, and hygrometer, sometimes with a ship's clock. Together, they provide a complete picture: what the weather will do, how warm it is, and how humid the indoor climate is. The exact composition is listed with the product.
2. Do I need to set up the weather station?
Only the barometer. The station is set to sea level by default; if used at an altitude above 800 meters, please indicate this beforehand, and we will set it up for your location at an additional cost. The thermometer and hygrometer work directly.
3. Why does the station need to acclimatize first?
After delivery or relocation, the measuring instruments need about an hour to adjust to the ambient temperature and humidity. Only after this period should you take your first reference reading.
4. What is a normal indoor humidity level?
Between 40 and 60 percent is good. Consistently above 70 percent is a signal to ventilate — on board and in outdoor cabins, this is the difference between dry cushions and musty mattresses.
5. Does the weather station need power?
The barometer, thermometer, and hygrometer are fully mechanical. Only if the station includes a ship's clock will it require a battery.
6. Where is the best place to hang the weather station?
On an interior wall, out of direct sunlight, and not above a heater or stove — otherwise, you'll be measuring the heat source instead of the room. At eye level along a walkway, it reads itself automatically, every day.
7. Why a Plastimo set?
Because Plastimo has been selling these sets for over 50 years and they are a true classic. Beautiful black instruments that remain attractive for a long time on board or at home.
This instrument is factory-set for sea level and accurate up to approximately 800–900 meters altitude. Do you want to use the instrument at higher altitudes? Please indicate this in advance; for an additional charge, we will set up the instrument for your location.Additional details: set of three separate instruments in identical size and finish (120mm, matte chrome Arabic dial); please select the desired clock variant when ordering
