The most atmospheric combination in the Royal series. The ship's clock with ship's bell strikes the traditional ship's bells; every half hour an additional strike, up to eight bells at the end of the watch, bringing the sound of the high seas into your home. The matching barometer completes the picture with its air pressure trend display. Both instruments measure 180 mm, are made of solid brass, and are supplied as a set in identical finishes. Maritime tradition, German precision, and a wall you'll enjoy looking at every day.

• Dust the ship's clock with a microfiber cloth to remove dirt without affecting the protective alloy.<!--en-->• Remove the battery for long-term storage, for example during winter.<!--en-->• Hang or store the ship's clock in a dry place to prevent moisture and corrosion damage.<!--en-->• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or polishes, which can damage the protective layer and/or cause corrosion.
• What exactly is "striking the bells"? The clock strikes according to the traditional onboard watch system: one strike every half an hour, up to eight bells at the end of each four-hour watch.
• Can I turn off the striking at night? Yes, the bell mechanism can be switched off – useful if the clock is in a bedroom or cabin.
• Is the bell disturbingly loud? The bell has a clear but pleasant sound, intended for living spaces and cabins. Do you want to hear it first? Contact us and we'll send you a sound clip.
• What does "hi-sensitive" mean exactly? The measuring mechanism is more sensitively adjusted than in a standard aneroid barometer. This allows small changes in air pressure to be read earlier and more clearly; it is precisely this early trend that predicts a change in weather.
• Maintenance tip: Wipe the casing with a soft, dry cloth. Polished brass is lacquered, so do not use polish, as this will damage the lacquer layer. Chrome and matt brushed should only be wiped dry or slightly damp.
• Frequency: 32,768 KHz
• Power supply: 1 x AA alkaline battery (LR6), 1.5 V
• Ship's bell with watch rhythm
• New high-sensitive barometer with measurements in hPa, mmHg and inHg.
