Position the box upright when in use, with the sail stripe along the longitudinal axis of the boat, and store it away from tools and electronics.

The C4-00114 is a traditional compass in a varnished wooden box, intended for small boats, lifeboats, and rescue craft. The 100 mm flat card has a 2.5° scale and a lubber line; you mount the box on a horizontal surface or store it safely until needed. Lighting is optional for this model.
