Order the sensor together with the compass so that it can be installed and aligned in the workshop. For installation under a gimbaled compass of another brand, an assessment by Autonautic is required first.

The C20-00132 is a sensor coil that is mounted under an external gimballed Autonautic compass, turning it into a Transmitting Magnetic Compass (TMC). The sensor measures the magnetic field and outputs the heading as an NMEA 0183 sentence; because it is aligned to the card, the heading read out always matches what you see on the compass. The sensor is mounted and calibrated on the compass at the Autonautic workshop and is ready for use as soon as it is powered.
