Set the hand to the next high tide for your home port according to the tide table. In a different tidal area, reset it accordingly.

The A100IM is a tide indicator that tracks the tidal cycle and shows whether the tide is coming in or going out. You set it to the high tide of your home port, after which it operates independently. The 106 mm dial is printed in English and French, and the casing is made of mirror-polished stainless steel.

Set the hand to the next high tide for your home port according to the tide table. In a different tidal area, reset it accordingly.

• How does a tide clock work?
A tide clock follows the tidal cycle and indicates when it is high or low tide. The indicator moves continuously, so you can easily see whether the water is rising or falling.

• Do I need to set the tide clock?
Yes, the tide clock must be set once to the tides in the region where you are using it. You do this by synchronizing the clock with a local high tide. After that, the clock automatically follows the tidal pattern. If you move the clock to a different region, you must re-synchronize it for the new location.

• How do I set the tide clock?
Thanks to the convenient rotating feature, you can easily adjust the tide clock. There is a gear on the back of the instrument. You use the gear to set the tide indicator.

• Is the tide clock moisture-resistant?
To protect the casing of the tide clock, we recommend keeping it away from damp environments as much as possible. The cabin or a dry spot in your home are therefore ideal locations. This way, you combine practical information with a maritime look in your interior.

• How do I replace the battery of the tide clock?
Thanks to the handy mounting plate with a twist-off design, you can easily replace the tide clock's battery yourself. The clock runs on one AA battery (Mignon 1.5 V), which is not included. Do you keep the clock on your boat during the sailing season? Then remove the battery at the end of the season to prevent potential leakage and damage.

• Can I use a tide clock indoors?
Yes. A tide clock is excellent for indoor use. Once you have set the clock to your region, you can easily read when it is high and low tide. This allows you to plan your sailing trip or other coastal activities, for example.

• Is there a warranty on the tide clock?
Yes. Upon purchasing a tide clock, you receive a two-year Vion warranty. This warranty covers damage or defects not caused by external factors or improper use, including issues with functionality and the movement.

• What is the difference between a tide meter and a tide clock?
A tide meter and a tide clock fundamentally provide the same information: they show when it is high or low tide and whether the water is rising or falling. The difference lies primarily in the combination with or without time indication. A tide clock is the most common term for a clock with a tide indicator, while "tide meter" emphasizes the function of the instrument. In practice, the terms are often used interchangeably.
