• Wipe instruments with a soft, dry microfibre cloth; do not use polishes or abrasives on the varnished and polished cases.
• Hang the set in a dry place, out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.
• Replace the clock battery annually to prevent leakage.
• Calibrate the barometer to local air pressure at the start of the season.
• Are the three instruments identical in colour?
Yes, when supplied as a set, the housings and dials of the Barigo Sky are perfectly matched, which is a great advantage over purchasing them separately.
• Is the set waterproof?
No, the instruments are resistant to humid environments such as a cabin, but not fully waterproof. Avoid splashes and permanent condensation.
• Do I need to set the instruments?
Only the barometer: set it once to the current atmospheric pressure of your location. The clock runs immediately on an AA battery, the thermo-hygrometer works without setting. You can also calibrate it; see our Captain's log for information.
• How do I neatly hang the set?
Hang the clock in the middle with the barometer and thermo-hygrometer to the left and right, at the same height with 10–15 cm spacing, creating a calm, symmetrical arrangement of 110 mm instruments.
