Set the tide clock to high water in your home port according to the tide table; it will then automatically follow the lunar rhythm.

The Admiral III tide clock combines time display and tide indicator in a single 185 mm housing. White 125 mm dial with black hands, battery-powered quartz movement with DIN 8325 accuracy. Stainless steel with PVD brass coating or polished stainless steel, opening via front-mounted rotary knob.

Set the tide clock to high water in your home port according to the tide table; it will then automatically follow the lunar rhythm.

• Dust the tide clock with a microfiber cloth to remove dirt without damaging the protective alloy.
• Remove the battery during long-term storage, such as in winter.
• Hang or store the tide clock in a dry place to prevent moisture and corrosion damage.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or polishes, which may damage the protective layer and/or cause corrosion.

• How does a tide clock work?
A tide clock follows the lunar cycle and indicates the time of high or low water. The hand at the top indicates high tide. The hand at the bottom indicates low tide. The hand moves continuously, allowing you to see whether the water is rising or falling.

• Do I need to set the tide clock?
Yes, you need to set the tide clock once for the tides in your region. You can do this by synchronizing the clock with a local high tide. After this, the clock will automatically follow the tidal pattern. So, if you sail to a different region, you will need to re-synchronize the clock at your destination.

• How do I set the tide clock?
Thanks to the front opening of this tide clock, it is easy to open the clock, and on the back of the movement, there are 2 gears. The large gear is for the tide indicator, and the small gear is for setting the time.

• Is the tide clock moisture resistant?
To protect the tide clock's electronics and casing, we advise keeping the clock away from damp environments as much as possible. The cabin or a dry place in the house are ideal locations, perfect for adding a maritime atmosphere to your interior.

• How do I replace the battery in my quartz clock?
Thanks to the front opening of this tide clock, it is easy to replace the battery yourself. Please note that in winter, if the tide clock is on your boat, you should remove the battery at the end of the season to prevent leaks.

• Can I use a tide clock indoors?
Yes, a tide clock is ideal for indoor use and always provides relevant information, even if you have it hanging at home. Once the clock is set for your area, you can easily read when it's high tide and low tide. This is handy so you can depart with your boat at the right time or plan activities on the coast.

• Is there a warranty on the ship's clock? Yes, when you purchase a Wempe ship's clock, you receive an international three-year warranty. This warranty covers damage or defects not caused by external influences or improper use, including problems with functionality and the movement.
