No, the weather station is resistant to humid environments, but not completely waterproof.

• Do I need to maintain the weather station?
Yes, the hygrometer needs to be calibrated once a year. Do this by placing the instrument in a plastic bag with a damp sponge and waiting until the hygrometer reads 100%. This will ensure the weather station is accurately set again.
