Navigation lights for safe boating

Autonautic compasses form the basis of all reliable navigation on board. From compact handheld compasses to robust deck, bulkhead, flush-mount and overhead compasses, each design is engineered with a single goal: clear, stable, and accurate course readings in all conditions. Thanks to high-quality materials, thoughtful construction, and international certifications, these compasses are suitable for both recreational and professional use. Whether for a small RIB, a sailing yacht, or a workboat, you will always find a suitable solution within this collection. Navigation begins with trust - and that begins with a good compass.

A flush-mount compass fits neatly into the dashboard or binnacle, a bracket-mount compass screws onto a flat surface and can be aimed, a deckhead compass mounts to the cabin ceiling and is read from below. A hand-bearing compass is handheld and used to take bearings to objects outside the ship.

Yes, but steel affects the magnetic field. On steel and aluminium vessels, compensation by an expert is recommended to keep the deviation within acceptable limits.

Chrome-plated brass, matte black, and gold-plated differ in appearance, not in function. All versions are built to the same standards and resistant to salt and sun.

Usually, yes. More important than the mounting itself is the location: keep a distance from loudspeakers, motors, electronics, and ferrous parts, and place the compass as close as possible to the ship's longitudinal axis.

We usually ship in-stock models within a few business days. Out-of-stock versions are ordered from Autonautic in Spain; we will inform you of the expected delivery time with your order, usually a maximum of one week.
