The Autonautic CHE Deck Mount Compass is one of the largest and most robust in-deck compasses on the market. With a 140mm flat compass rose, this model offers maximum readability, ideal for larger pleasure craft and mid-sized workboats. Combining stylish design with professional performance, the CHE series features corrosion-resistant materials, waterproof construction, and internal lighting for safe navigation in all conditions. Thanks to its universal balance system, the compass is suitable for worldwide use. Available with a white or black housing.

• Inspect the fluid for air bubbles or discoloration. A small air bubble is normal; if there is a leak, contact the manufacturer.

• Use the protective cover when the compass is not in use.

• To avoid magnetic interference, do not place speakers, tools, or electronics close to the compass.

Yes, for steel hulls we recommend the optional D-Quadrant corrector kit (CHE-QC) for optimal accuracy.

• What if air bubbles appear in the compass?
A small air bubble is normal. Larger bubbles or leaks may indicate a problem – contact us for inspection or repair.

• Does this compass have a light for night use?
Yes, the CHE compass is equipped with dual voltage lighting (12-24 V) and is therefore perfectly visible in low light.

Yes, it is fully sealed and resistant to water infiltration, which is essential for deck and exterior mounting.
