Compact climate control from Weems & Plath, with this thermometer and hygrometer in one. This smart combination allows you to monitor temperature and humidity at a glance. Ideal for on board or at home to prevent moisture problems and maintain a comfortable indoor climate. The generous white dial with black indices clearly displays both measurements. On the left side, the temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius, and on the right side, the relative humidity in percentage. The scale immediately highlights the ideal "comfort zone" for a healthy and pleasant living environment. Compact, practical, and stylish—85 mm dial, 105 mm case, 38 mm height. Or medium-sized: 125 mm dial, 152 mm case, 41 mm height. Choose from brass or chrome-plated brass—either a must-have for any space where precision and comfort meet.

• Use a soft microfiber cloth to gently remove dust and dirt without damaging the protective layer.
• Place the comfort meter in a dry location to prevent moisture and corrosion, especially in damp environments such as boats or campers.
• Avoid using aggressive cleaning or polishing agents that could damage the protective coating of the barometer housing.
• Calibrate the hygrometer at the beginning of the season, after prolonged storage, or if you have any doubts about its accuracy. You can do this by placing a wet sponge in a bag around the instrument. Wait until the hygrometer reaches 100%, and then it is calibrated.

• What makes a comfort meter suitable for use on board?
This thermometer is specifically designed for marine use to withstand fluctuating temperatures, humidity, and the corrosive effects of saltwater. It is constructed of durable, moisture-resistant materials such as aluminum and features a gold- or chrome-plated finish.

A comfort meter allows you to monitor the humidity on board. If the humidity is too high, you can take timely measures to prevent mold and other moisture problems. Combined with a thermometer, you can maintain a comfortable and healthy climate on board.

• Can I place a thermometer on the outside of my boat?
The thermometers are designed for indoor use. For outdoor use, we recommend special outdoor maritime instruments that can withstand direct sunlight, moisture, and fluctuating temperatures. The thermometer is also resistant to fluctuations due to weather changes, making it suitable for marine use.

• How do I maintain my thermometer on a boat?
Clean the thermometer regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove salt and dust. Avoid harsh cleaning agents, as these can damage the protective coating. Avoid constant exposure to extreme humidity.

• Where can I hang my thermometer?
Hang the thermometer out of direct sunlight and not above a heat source. Ideal locations include a prominent spot in your home, on your boat, or in a vacation home where it's easily visible.
