The conical compass rose is designed for optimal readability from various viewing angles – ideal for sailing vessels where the skipper's position changes frequently. The built-in inclinometer (heel angle meter ) makes it a particularly suitable choice for sailors who want extra control over their vessel's heeling. The wide mounting flange makes the C10 ideal for replacing older compasses or for installation on existing bulkheads where a larger recess was previously made. Furthermore, the flange can neatly conceal any signs of aging or discoloration on the bulkhead.
